About Lonestar Baseball Club
Lonestar Baseball Club is a newly formed partnership that is the result of merging 3 of the best organizations in Central Texas: Austin Elite, Clutch Athletics, and Texas Colts. Each youth location, moving forward, will be known as Lonestar Baseball Club North, Lonestar Baseball Club Central and Lonestar Baseball Club South, respectively. All of the owners and coaches from the previous organizations have remained the same.
There are four owners: Steven Mazur (North), Rob Johnson (Central), and Niko Gonzalez & Luke Owens-Bragg (South). In addition, Colter Bostick will be the High School/Recruiting coordinator. Matt Flores will be the director of player development. All will be highly involved in all decision making.
How does LBC benefit my son?
LBC comes with a wealth of ex-player experience and a history of excellence. Our coaching staff is second to none and each coach is selected based on leadership, skill/experience level, and teaching ability. This formula is proven to provide the players with the development and teaching necessary for each young man to gain confidence, skill, exposure, and the opportunity to be successful.
In addition to top level coaching and development opportunities, you can expect honesty, transparency, and integrity from the staff at Lonestar Baseball Club. We care about the player and their family and focus on developing character both on and off the field. We will encourage leadership in our quest to help grow strong and confident men.
One of the most important long-term benefits of LBC is the relationship we have built with junior colleges, NAIA, DIII, DII, and DI universities around the country. LBC has already drawn massive interest from these colleges because of the time taken to develop relationships with the college coaches and recruiters. This is the key to getting the players the exposure needed to move to the collegiate level and beyond. LBC is proud to be able to provide you with the direction for this critical step in your player’s future.
Finally, LBC is powered by Wilson and is one of only six organizations in the state of Texas to be partnered with one of the most recognizable brands in all of baseball. This not only allows LBC exclusive opportunities to play in their national “invite only” sponsored events, providing premier level exposure, but also the opportunity to purchase pro-level equipment at a discounted prices.
